 CARL A. DIETZ JR. APPOINTED REGIONAL VICE PRESIDENT FOR
 AT&T BUSINESS COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEMS IN THE MID-ATLANTIC STATES
 PHILADELPHIA, Jan. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- AT&T (NYSE: T) announced today that Carl A. Dietz Jr. is appointed regional vice president for AT&T Business Communications Systems in the Mid-Atlantic states.
 In this new assignment, Dietz is responsible for sales of telecommunications systems and equipment and customer service for large businesses in the District of Columbia, Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia.
 Prior to his appointment on Jan. 1, Dietz was vice president for technical support and customer service for AT&T's national accounts and major customers in the Mid-Atlantic region.
 Dietz has 22 years' experience in the telecommunications industry. He graduated from Lehigh University with a B.S. in electrical engineering and earned an M.B.A. from Temple University.
 He also completed the Duke University Executive Education Program and the Executive Program at INSEAD in Fountainbleau, France.
