 CARENETWORK ANNOUNCES MANAGEMENT CHANGES
 MILWAUKEE, Aug. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- E. Thomas Sheahan, chairman of the


board of CareNetwork (NASDAQ: CRNT), and Kipton Kaplan, president and CEO, today announced Kaplan's decision to resign from the company and board of directors. Kaplan indicated that he was resigning at this time to pursue other business interests.
 Under Kaplan's leadership, CareNetwork has grown significantly over the past six years. The company's HMO subsidiary, Wisconsin Health Organization, had 27,000 enrollees in 1986 when Kaplan joined the company. Today, WHO serves approximately 140,000 enrollees. Annual revenues have grown from $22 million to $160 million in 1991. In April 1991, CareNetwork had a successful initial public offering with $23.3 million net proceeds to the company.
 Sheahan indicated that CareNetwork will be initiating a national search for a replacement president and CEO. In the interim, John Moats, currently senior vice president-corporate planning and development, will function as acting CEO.
