CARB Wants Updated Date Code Info for VOC Enforcement.


* The California Air Resources Board California Air Resources Board (CARB) is the "clean air agency" of the state of California in the United States. Established originally in 1967, it is a part of the California Environmental Protection Agency, an organization which reports directly to the California  (CARB) has issued an "advisory" requesting updated date code information from manufacturers of antiperspirant/deodorant products and consumer products that are regulated under the state's volatile organic compound volatile organic compound Environment Any toxic cabon-based (organic) substance that easily become vapors or gases–eg, solvents–paint thinners, lacquer thinner, degreasers, dry cleaning fluids  (VOC (Vertical Online Community) See vertical portal. ) rule. CARB uses date code information to determine whether a product complies with the state's VOC limits. The agency is updating records for date of manufacture codes that correspond to regulated consumer products.
