CAPNM celebrates 10th anniversary.[ILLUSTRATION OMITTED] On Thursday May 29, a celebration of the 10th anniversary of the founding of the Canadian Association for Parish Nursing Ministry was held in the Grand Ballroom of the Elmhurst Inn & Country Spa with 100 members of the community, members of CAPNM, local dignitaries including Mayor of Ingersoll and Warden of Oxford County, Paul Holbrough; the Town Crier CRIER. An inferior officer of a court, whose duty it is to open and adjourn the court, when ordered by the judges; to make proclamations and obey the directions of the court in anything which concerns the administration of justice. , Douglas Turvey, and others who have assisted in providing their expertise to the organization over the years. Currently Marlene Smadu is the president of the CNA. . Master of ceremonies was Karen Marks, Chair of CAPNM for the past four years. Our Annual General Meeting was held over the course of three days. We voted on several bylaw by·law n. 1. A law or rule governing the internal affairs of an organization. 2. A secondary law. [Middle English bilawe, body of local regulations; akin to Danish changes, awarded certificates of appreciation, elected our new board of directors, established work priorities for the coming year, and truly celebrated our 10th Anniversary as an organization for the development of parish nursing in Canada. Following the installation and recognition of board members, gifts of bookmarks with our conference theme, Parish Nursing: Healing 'Art,' were given to all at our Sending Forth. After lunch, we all left refreshed re·fresh v. re·freshed, re·fresh·ing, re·fresh·es v.tr. 1.
