SO Scottish TV will henceforth be known as stv but not STV and certainly not Grampian either.

Harrumph. The Cowcaddens crew decided they wanted to be known as Scottish TV six years back, but everyone called them ess tee vee regardless.

Now they've decided they're reverting back but have - like Channel 5, or five as they call themselves now - gone all kd lang on us by insisting we use wee letters again, presumably just to annoy journalists.

isnt it annoying when pretentious marketing types try to rewrite the rules of grammar and punctuation but what do I know maybe itll catch on
