This year, Capezio/Ballet Makers, Inc. has entered into a joint venture with Norwich Dancewear dance·wear n. Clothing such as leotards and warmup suits that are worn for dance practice and exercising. Ltd. to form Ballet Makers-Europe Limited. Until January 1999, Capezio/Ballet Makers's products were sold in Europe through independent distributors. Ballet Makers-Europe Limited has made a considerable investment in new warehouses, inventories, and multilingual staffing. The sales projection for the first year is $3.5 million. Products distributed include not only Capezio's well-known pointe shoes 'Pointe shoes', also referred to as toe shoes, are a special type of shoe used by ballet dancers for pointework.
