"I was happy to get the call to start against Swansea," said Capaldi. "I've missed a lot of football over the past year, but I need to be playing regularly to get the best out of myself. I'm that kind of player. "And to be honest I need regular football now. I can't just keep coming in every four or five weeks. "I've spoken to the gaffer and we'll see what happens from here. If I'm not needed and I have to move on then fair enough. We'll see what happens in January. "I would love to stay at Cardiff and play, but I might now just have to move on." Since arriving on a free transfer from Plymouth in May 2007 Capaldi has made 68 appearances for the Bluebirds including in the FA Cup Final at Wembley.
