CAP-MPT Enhances Web Site to Simplify Application Processes and Provide Greater Educational Offerings to Physicians.

The improved web site offers existing members myriad Myriad is a classical Greek name for the number 104 = 10 000. In modern English the word refers to an unspecified large quantity.

The term myriad is a progression in the commonly used system of describing numbers using tens and hundreds.

"Recognizing that physicians who run office practices have so little time today, we wanted to leverage available technology to make our web site as user-friendly as possible -- to ease completion of the professional liability application and offer other products and services," said James L. Weidner, CAP-MPT chief executive officer.

"An increasing number of our members are maximizing efficiency by taking advantage of the online resources now available on the revamped site," Weidner added.

CAP-MPT will expand online member offerings in the near future, noted Weidner. "We've built in flexibility so we can continue to add tools, content and functionality to the site to meet the future needs of our members."
