markets of copying, printing, scanning, and faxing. The Converging Digital Peripherals/Integrated Office Conference 2000 (CDP/IOC 2000) will be held October 23 - 25, 2000 at the Seaport Hotel in Boston.

Through a combined effort, CAP Ventures and the MFPA have developed a conference program where attendees can obtain the knowledge to take their organization to the next level by providing a forum to discuss what's new, what's hot and what's not in the output device market.

This year's conference agenda provides attendees with over 35 sessions to choose from covering topics on: the future of wireless in the integrated office; color document integration and interchange An interchange is a location where two things meet, usually perform some kind of exchange, and possibly go on their ways again. It is most commonly used in four contexts:
  • Transportation:
; the blurring of output functionality: printing vs. fax vs. copying; emerging document services opportunities; web driven changes in distribution and business models; network print and device management.

"We are experiencing a time of upheaval in our industry due to the pace of change in technology, in the structure of the industry, in our markets and products and in distribution. CDP/IOC 2000 provides a one-stop solution for the knowledge and information you need to stay abreast of these revolutionary changes," commented Bob Sostilio, Group Director, Converging Digital Peripherals Consulting Service Noun 1. consulting service - service provided by a professional advisor (e.g., a lawyer or doctor or CPA etc.)

Past exhibitors include NetSilicon, Oasis Semiconductor, Xionics and Peerless Systems.
