CAP Index Inc. and PPM 2000 Inc. today announced a strategic partnership in which the two companies will integrate their respective software and database technologies and products in order to help corporations and organizations implement data-driven security programs.

CAP Index and PPM 2000 will launch co-marketing programs. Financial terms of the alliance were not announced. Both firms are closely held.

Integrating a CAP Index score for external threat likelihood with a new &uot;internal CAP profile&uot; based on actual security incidents, as captured by PPM 2000's IRIMS(R) software, will enable customers to gauge the level of security that is appropriate for individual sites.
