CHULA VISTA Chula Vista (ch`lə), city (1990 pop. 135,163), San Diego co., S Calif., on San Diego Bay; inc. 1911.  - Brittany Daniel Brittany Ann Daniel (born March 17, 1976 in Gainesville, Florida) is an actress, well known for her role as Jessica Wakefield in the television series Sweet Valley High, who she co-starred with her twin sister, Cynthia Daniel.  scored 16 points to lead Eastlake of Chula Vista past visiting Canyon of Canyon Country 43-39 Monday night in a play-in game in the Southern California Southern California, also colloquially known as SoCal, is the southern portion of the U.S. state of California. Centered on the cities of Los Angeles and San Diego, Southern California is home to nearly 24 million people and is the nation's second most populated region,  Regional Div. I girls' basketball playoffs.

Elise Calwell scored 11 points and Brittany Thomas and Cheryl Stevens added 10 apiece for Canyon (23-9), which lost to Foothill League rival Hart of Newhall in the Southern Section Div. I-A final Saturday night.

Eastlake (24-7), the San Diego San Diego (săn dēā`gō), city (1990 pop. 1,110,549), seat of San Diego co., S Calif., on San Diego Bay; inc. 1850. San Diego includes the unincorporated communities of La Jolla and Spring Valley. Coronado is across the bay.  Section Div. I runner-up, plays tonight at City Section champion Narbonne of Harbor City.

City runner-up Dorsey of Los Angeles lost 68-59 at Stockdale of Bakersfield in another Div. I play-in game.
