Pavel Bure Pavel Vladimirovich Bure (Russian: Павел Владимирович Буре  broke out of a six-game scoring drought with two goals to lead the Vancouver Canucks The Vancouver Canucks are a professional ice hockey team based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. They are members of the Northwest Division of the Western Conference of the National Hockey League (NHL). They joined the NHL as an expansion team in 1970.  to a 4-3 victory over the Kings on Thursday night.

The win halted the Canucks' four-game losing streak, in which they were outscored 25-8. It was the Kings' seventh loss in their last eight games.

Bure also had an assist, while Alex Mogilny had a goal and two assists, and Donald Brashear Donald Brashear (born January 7, 1972 in Bedford, Indiana, U.S.) is an American-Canadian professional ice hockey forward who currently plays for the National Hockey League's Washington Capitals. He also played for the Montreal Canadiens, Vancouver Canucks and Philadelphia Flyers.  scored the winner.

Bure scored his second goal of the game, and 13th of the season, by lifting a rebound over goalie Stephane Fiset at 16:26 of the second period to give Vancouver a 3-1 lead just 52 seconds after Kings forward Ed Olczyk had cut the Canucks' lead to one.

And 1:26 later, Brashear scored his fourth of the season for a 4-1 lead.

Kai Nurminen and Jeff Shevalier also scored for Los Angeles.
