CANEC Journalism Awards Announced.


SAN CARLOS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 10, 1999--

The California Network of Educational Charters (CANEC CANEC California Network of Educational Charters ) recognized nine California newspapers for their coverage of the state's charter schools during 1998. Below is the list of award winners.

Using Stanford 9 test results, Ms. Crosby reports that LAUSD LAUSD Los Angeles Unified School District (Los Angeles, CA)  charter schools outperformed their counterparts in the district and statewide.
