Teams consisting of 10 or more walkers or runners, who agree to raise money for the American Cancer Society in advance of the walk, must keep at least one walker on the track at all times during the 24-hour event. Teams are being encouraged to offer cancer-education activities to attract visitors to their sites. Individual participants also qualify for prizes based on the amount of donations they collect, in addition to team prizes. Each walker is encouraged to raise at least $100 to receive a Relay for Life T-shirt at the event. The theme of this year's relay is ``Relay Rocks!'' which will be carried out in lively entertainment by professional performers and community groups on the stage starting at 9 a.m. June 28 and ending at 9 a.m. the next day.
