(CCM.TSE) has acquired options to earn up to a 90 percent interest in two additional gold-silver properties near the town of Uruachic, Ocampo mining district, Chihuahua State, Mexico. The Los Hilos (1 & 2) and Los Gachupines properties are located near the Esperanza, Oteros and Danny (1 & 2) properties recently acquired by Canarc. They cover approximately 1,625 acres, including several new gold-silver prospects and multiple old mine workings in the Ocampo mining camp. Recent prospecting by Minera Delta SA de CV has uncovered several altered and mineralized min·er·al·ize v. min·er·al·ized, min·er·al·iz·ing, min·er·al·iz·es v.tr. 1. At Los Hilos, old mine shafts and tunnels are reported to have produced high grade silver-gold direct shipping ores. Some 20,000 tons of ore grading 1.0 gpt. gold and 400 gpt. silver are reported to still remain in stockpiles and dumps. Check sampling by Canarc generally confirmed the gold and silver grades reported by Delta and, in some places, upgraded them. A Phase 1 road-building, trenching and prospecting program has been proposed to systematically sample all mineralized areas prior to an initial drilling program. At Gachupines, the Spaniards are known to have mined gold, silver, copper, lead and zinc from veins in the area. In the more recent past, locals mined high grade Au-Ag-Cu-Zn-Pb ore for direct shipping to the smelter in Chihuahua until it was closed down. Mineralization at Los Gachupines is different from Los Hilos in that the granite plutons have intruded in·trude v. in·trud·ed, in·trud·ing, in·trudes v.tr. 1. Minera Delta reported grab samples assaying up to 2.73 percent copper, 3.5 percent zinc, 11.6 percent lead, 1.04 gpt. gold and 2.31 gpt. silver. The Los Gachupines property adjoins the Oteros-Esperanza properties to the north, along strike from gold-silver epithermal mineralization previously reported. Canarc can earn a 90 percent interest in the Los Hilos (1 & 2) and Los Gachupines properties from Minera Delta by paying $61,000 and issuing 45,000 shares over a one-year period and carrying Minera Delta's remaining 10 percent interest in the properties until completion of feasibility studies on a per property basis. If Delta does not participate in its share of post-feasibility costs, then Delta's 10 percent interest will revert to a 2 percent to 3 percent net smelter royalty.
