It is the U.S. member body to ISO and IEC. ) Certificate Accreditation Program, which would provide neutral, third-party verification that the CAMT program meets an American National Standard (standard) American National Standard - (ANS) A common prefix for ANSI documents or standards, e.g.: "ANS Forth", or "American National Standard X3.215-1994". and promotes better-educated and qualified workers. Gaining this accreditation will help CAMT become the gold standard of apartment industry maintenance education programs. In doing do, the NAA Education Institute (NAAEI) also is changing the program's name to Certificate for Apartment Maintenance Technicians in order to make the program eligible for consideration.
