Unbeaten Swifts came under pressure from the visitors early on with Evans making the first of a string of impressive saves to deny the Biggleswade striker in the tenth minute. Stourport defender Ben Pattison then cleared further danger on 15 minutes before team-mate Jamie Price produced the home side's first meaningful effort on 22 minutes. The home side won a free kick on the edge of the Waders' area and Price's strike was well saved the keeper. Evans did well to keep the sides level at the interval after the Waders went clean through to produce a free shot from the edge of the area on 37 minutes.
