CAMP CLARITA OPEN FOR KIDS' REGISTRATION.

SANTA CLARITA Santa Clarita, city (1990 pop. 110,642), Los Angeles co., S Calif., suburb 30 mi (48 km) NW of downtown Los Angeles, on the Santa Clara River; inc. 1987. Situated in the Santa Clara valley and nearby canyons, Santa Clarita includes the former towns of Canyon Country,  - Registrations are being accepted for the city's Camp Clarita program, a day camp that offers summer classes and outings for 3- to 14-year-olds.

Children will be divided into separate camps and programs tailored to their age group. Activities include games, crafts, performing arts, swimming and field trips. Sessions will be held at several parks throughout Santa Clarita.

Each camp group will be overseen by at least one full-time full-time

Registration can be done online, over the phone, in person or by mail. Registration fees range from $75 to $215 weekly, depending on the program. Sign-ups can be done on a week-to-week basis, depending on availability, allowing families to schedule summer trips and vacations.
