CAMERON ASHLEY COMPLETES ACQUISITION OF ZAGLIN WHOLESALE SUPPLY, INC.

DALLAS, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 23, 1995--Cameron Ashley Inc. (Nasdaq:CMSH) announced today that it has completed its previously announced acquisition of Zaglin Wholesale Supply, Inc., a building products distributor located in New Smyrna, Georgia. Zaglin was established in 1985 to serve the Atlanta metropolitan market through the distribution of building products which include Alcoa/Mastic Vinyl Siding and Alsco Vinyl Siding. Zaglin had annual revenues of approximately $3.5 million. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Ronald R. Ross, Chairman of Cameron Ashley, commented: "Zaglin Wholesale Supply represents the second acquisition in Georgia for Cameron Ashley this year, and further enhances our Ashley Aluminum subsidiary's presence in that market.
