Camarillo quickly turned the first two Hueneme fumbles into touchdowns.

Kawamoto scored on a 10-yard run with 6:38 left in the second quarter after the ball squirted away from Hueneme and into Camarillo hands on the Hueneme 11.

A few minutes later, he scored again, this time on a 2-yard run, to complete a short drive set up by a Hueneme fumble recovered at the Hueneme 27. Camarillo led 14-0 at the half.

Camarillo had to work a little harder for its second-half points.

Taking possession at its own 44 following a Hueneme punt, Camarillo had driven to the Hueneme 41 with 7:54 left in the third quarter when Kawamoto took off on his longest scoring run of the night.

Hueneme, which managed just six first downs, recovered a fumbled punt at the Camarillo 31 early in the fourth quarter but ended up punting from the 37 four plays later.
