Ventura County FBI Supervisor David Nesbitt said the two suspects walked into the Camarillo branch of City National Bank at 502 N. Las Posas Road shortly after 1 p.m. and demanded money. One of the suspects displayed an automatic weapon, but no one was reported injured, he said. The two suspects, described only as young males, perhaps juveniles, took the money and left on foot into the parking lot. Nesbitt said a private citizen, who observed the suspects getting into a compact Honda with two other males inside, took down the vehicle's license plate number as it sped away. Nesbitt said the number then was broadcast countywide over radio scanners, and a retired police officer saw the car make its way onto the southbound Ventura Freeway. Ventura County Sheriff's Department The Ventura County Sheriff's Department (VCSD) provides law enforcement for the unincorporated areas of Ventura County, California, USA, as well as several cities within the county.
