CAM Delivers New ``X-Charge'' Payment Processing Software.

CAM Commerce Solutions (NASDAQ:CADA) Monday announced that it has begun to deliver its new credit card processing and check authorization software called "X-Charge."

This new software will allow the company to begin earning revenue from its customers who process credit card transactions using the X-Charge software and NDC's payment processing service. The X-Charge software is the result of a joint development effort between CAM Commerce Solutions and NDC (NYSE:NDC), a leading payment processor. NDC has certified this software which allows a retailer to process credit card transactions directly from any of CAM's POS systems.

NDC's direct sales force of approximately 150 sales people will begin offering CAM's Retail ICE software to its current and prospective customers in January of 2001. Retail ICE is a single user, single store, point of sale, inventory management and accounting system. Cam has been offering Retail ICE software for free for over a year in order to seed the market for future sales and upgrades. More than 3,000 Retail ICE software packages have been delivered to retailers since the program's inception. By offering its customers the Retail ICE software with the integrated X-Charge credit card processing module, NDC will be able to provide not only a fully integrated credit card processing solution, but also complete point of sale and business software for free.
