CASTAIC - The case of the patriotic Army mom versus a Caltrans employee directed to remove a pro-troop display will go before the state Senate Transportation Committee on Wednesday.

Castaic resident Penny Young, whose son, Army Pfc. Sean Young Mary Sean Young (born in Louisville, Kentucky on November 20, 1959) is an American actress.

Young is divorced from Robert Lujan and is the mother of two sons, Rio (born in 1994) and Quinn (born in 1998).

Caltrans officials counter that the worker was assaulted and blame the Daily News for instigating the altercation.

The hearing will examine two areas of the incident: the conduct of Caltrans personnel at the scene and the policy governing removal of displays from Caltrans property, said state Sen.
