CALLASSURE ENHANCES PATIENT CARE IN JAPANESE HOSPITALS.


Vocantas, Ottawa, developer of advanced interactive voice response (IVR (Interactive Voice Response) An automated telephone information system that speaks to the caller with a combination of fixed voice menus and data extracted from databases in real time. ) solutions, has announced a partnership with Communication Business Avenue Inc. After establishing the need for a partner with both IVR and healthcare expertise, CBA's research identified that Vocantas had the required expertise to help it address critical healthcare shortages in Japan where people have died while waiting for care. A recent survey discovered that Japanese hospitals rejected 14,000 emergency patients in 2007.

The Vocantas CallAssure solution, which has been proven to target these wait-time issues, will be marketed to hospitals and clinics to automate To turn a set of manual steps into an operation that goes by itself.
