``Inside Edition'' dug through the roster of thousands of Californians due unclaimed money from the state treasury and found some famous names. Dana Delany knows of the $10,000 salary from Warner Bros. that is in limbo in Sacramento. ``I've been trying to claim it, and they won't give it to me,'' she told the show. ``I want to know why.'' The state also is sitting on Nicole Kidman's $254 from Walt Disney Co. and Angelina Jolie's $603 from a dormant escrow account. Pamela Anderson and Elliott Gould were pleasantly surprised to learn they have $500 apiece due them from studios and said they plan to sign it over to charities.

PRESIDENTIAL INTERVIEW: Peter Jennings sits down at 9 tonight on a special edition of ABC's ``Primetime Live'' for an exclusive interview with former President Clinton in Little Rock, Ark., on the eve of the dedication of the William J. Clinton Presidential Center.

'ALIAS' MOVES: ABC has announced midseason plans that include a new Wednesday berth for ``Alias'' and an all-reality Monday lineup. Beginning Jan. 5, the J.J. Abrams-produced spy drama will air at 9 p.m. Wednesdays following another series he created, the rookie sensation ``Lost.'' The opening episode of the fourth season will be a two-hour installment; the midseason introduction will allow the entire season to unspool without interruption week to week.

FOREVER SIMON: Mark your calendar - Jan. 18 is the premiere of the next installment of ``American Idol,'' when the worst of the worst show their stuff and the judges come up with their most colorful put-downs. Judge/curmudgeon Simon Cowell loves to complain about the sheer torture of his role on the singing contest, particularly when his ears are subjected to the sharpest sharps and the flattest flats. But he'll be back, of course, with Paula Abdul, Randy Jackson and host Ryan Seacrest in search of the next Ruben or Fantasia (or William Hung).

DOUBLE THE CASTAWAYS: TBS' upcoming reality-cum-sitcom show, ``The Real Gilligan's Island,'' will have twice the fun with double casting of each of the castaways for two teams competing to get off the island.

The Gingers will be played by cover model Rachel Hunter and actress Nicole Eggert. Bill and Donna Beaven's $2 million net worth may be an impressive fortune in their Kentucky hometown, but they're up against the beaucoup bucks (and no doubt the customary feelings of entitlement) of L.A.'s own Glenn and Mindy Stearns in the Thurston Howell and Lovey positions. Glenn owns 26 companies and Mindy was an entertainment correspondent on KTLA's ``News at 10'' and ``Entertainment Tonight.'' Their net worth: $500 million. Memo to Stearns: Forget trying to leave the island. Just buy it.

LOOKING FOR A THIRD: UPN has announced its own talent search show with a specific goal: Filling the vacancy in hip-hop girl group TLC left by the 2002 death of Lisa ``Left Eye'' Lopes. ``R U the Girl With T-Boz & Chilli'' will put aspiring singers through an elimination process until one is chosen to record and perform live with the Grammy winners. G-RATED AWARDS: If airborne chairs, unchecked profanities and accidental revelations of too much skin are advertisers' worst nightmares in backing awards shows, here's one they can get behind more comfortably. Lori Loughlin (``Summerland'') will host the sixth annual Family Television Awards on Dec. 1 in Beverly Hills. The awards, presented by the Association of National Advertisers, honor the year's best in family-friendly programming.
