CALIFORNIA FORM 100 PREPARATION CHECKLIST.


Forget putting a string around your finger. Avoid problems by consulting the preparation checklist for California Form 100 returns. The FTB FTB Franchise Tax Board (California; they collect income and sales tax)
FTB Family Tax Benefit (Australian welfare assistance)
FTB First Time Buyer (housing) 
 has a comprehensive checklist to help you check, and double check, those sometimes overlooked essentials. Following are a sample of items included on the checklist:

* Is the seven-digit California corporation number included? This should be the same number as that registered through the California Secretary of State's office.

* Is the corporation's payment information accurate? Line 34: Overpayment o·ver·pay  
v. o·ver·paid , o·ver·pay·ing, o·ver·pays

v.tr.
1. To pay (a party) too much.

2. To pay an amount in excess of (a sum due).

v.intr.
To pay too much.
 from prior year; Line 35: Current year estimate payments; Line 36: Amount paid with extension of time to file.

* Has the self-assessed tax for each corporation been listed on Schedule R-7? Does it match the accompanying tax breakdown schedules? Are the applicable tax credits for each corporation identified in the tax breakdown schedules?

* For corporations acquired or disposed of during the year, are the abbreviations "ACQ ACQ Acquisition

ACQ Acquiescence (IRB)
ACQ Ammoniacal Copper Quaternary (wood preservative)
ACQ All Call Query
ACQ Acquittal
ACQ Agoraphobic Cognitions Questionnaire
