A ballroom is a large room inside a building, the designated purpose of which is holding formal dances called balls. with a pre-function terrace terrace, a level field built on top of a hillslope into the floor of a deep valley to improve cultivation of crops. Terracing uses the runoff from the hill to increase soil retentiveness and arability and is often part of a larger irrigation system that includes . Two additional oceanview ballrooms feature 6,322 and 3,400 square feet, plus pre-function space. The center also will contain 11,000 square feet of exhibition space and a 15,000-square-foot function lawn designed for outdoor events. Opening in 2001, the resort will provide 520 rooms, all with private terraces, three presidential suites with more than 3,100 square feet of luxury in each, and a 17,000-square-foot, fullservice spa. The new facility, adjacent to the Hilton Waterfront Beach Resort, will feature tropical tropical /trop·i·cal/ (trop´i-k'l) pertaining to the regions of the earth bounded by the parallels of latitude 23° 27' north and south of the equator. landscaping complemented by pools, water features, six courtyards, and tennis courts. |
