CALIBRE Announces Award of SeaPort Enhanced (SeaPort-e) Contract by Naval Sea Systems Command.


ALEXANDRIA, Va. -- CALIBRE, an employee-owned management and technology services company, announced the following contract award.

Naval Sea Systems Command The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) is the largest of the U.S. Navy's five "systems commands," or materiel organizations. ) has awarded CALIBRE an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for a wide range of engineering, technical, and programmatic services and solutions for the Virtual SYSCOM SYSCOM Systems Command
SYSCOM System and Materiel Command
 (NAVSEA, NAVAIR NAVAIR Naval Air Systems Command , NAVSUP NAVSUP Naval Supply Systems Command , SPAWAR, NAVFAC) as well as Commander, Naval Installations Command (CNIC), Strategic Systems Program (SSP), Military Sealift Command A major command of the US Navy, and the US Transportation Command's component command responsible for designated common-user sealift transportation services to deploy, employ, sustain, and redeploy US forces on a global basis. Also called MSC. See also transportation component command.  (MSC) and the US Marine Corps. SeaPort-e furthers the Navy's Seapower 21 objective of emphasizing cost-effective and integrated business practices to better support the Navy. NAVSEA estimates that as much as $5.3B of services may be procured per year via orders issued under the SeaPort-e multiple award IDIQ contracts. The CALIBRE contract will have a three year base period with one five year term and one additional two-year award term.
