 CALFED EMPLOYEES TO DONATE TO FOOD BANK
 AS PART OF BOY SCOUT CANNED FOOD DRIVE
 WHO: Los Angeles Food Bank, Los Angeles Area Council of the
 Boy Scouts of America and California Federal Bank
 WHAT: Two-hundred twenty-four of California Federal Bank's
 Service Center employees will donate 3,608 pounds of
 canned food to the Los Angeles Food Bank as part of
 the Los Angeles Area Council of the Boy Scouts of
 America's fourth-annual Scouting for Food "Good Turn"
 program.
 The 3,608 pounds alone nearly matches Cal Fed Bank's
 total donation of 3,863 pounds raised by its employees
 and Los Angeles-area branches last year. This is Cal
 Fed Bank's second year as sponsor of the event.
 WHERE: Cal Fed Bank's Service Center at 1515 Walnut Grove
 Ave. in Rosemead
 WHEN: Food bank officials will pick up donations at 11 a.m.
 today
 NOTE: Final totals, which are not yet available, from the
 bank's 54-branch Los Angeles system including its
 headquarters and service center are expected to reach
 8,000 pounds. All donations will be given to
 charities within the local community.
