Top Regional Non-Smoking High School Bands

Set for Battle in Final Competition

Event:    Y.N.O.T., the New Hampshire Youth Network Opposing Tobacco,
          and WGIR-FM Rock 101 invite local youth to attend a
          statewide competition among non-smoking high school bands.

Date:     Saturday, March 20, 2004

Time:     2 - 10 p.m.

Location: Gymnasium of Memorial High School
          1 Crusader Way, Manchester, NH 03103


Local youth are invited to attend the final round of Ignite the Truth! The Power of Youth Battle of the Bands, a statewide competition of non-smoking high school bands. Winning regional bands will take the stage on Saturday, March 20th at Memorial High School in Manchester. Y.N.O.T., the New Hampshire New Hampshire, one of the New England states of the NE United States. It is bordered by Massachusetts (S), Vermont, with the Connecticut R. forming the boundary (W), the Canadian province of Quebec (NW), and Maine and a short strip of the Atlantic Ocean (E).  Youth Network Opposing Tobacco, and DJs Frank and J.R. from WGIR-FM Rock 101 will award a grand prize of professional studio recording time and naming rights Naming rights are the right to name a piece of property, either tangible property or an event, usually granted in exchange for financial considerations. Institutions like schools, places of worship and hospitals have a tradition of granting donors the right to name facilities in  as Best High School Band in New Hampshire.

The Battle of the Bands is a positive way for young adults to have fun in a tobacco-free environment. The event features headliner head·lin·er
