Leroy Jenkins (March 11, 1932 – February 24, 2007) was an American composer and free jazz violinist and violist.
 Creative Music Concert is scheduled for 8 p.m. March 19 in the Walt Disney Modular Theatre at CalArts, and will feature guest composer and violinist Leroy Jenkins, and guest dancer Felicia Norton. Ishmael Wadada Leo Smith (18 December 1941 in Leland, Mississippi) is a trumpeter and composer working primarily in the fields of avant-garde jazz and free improvisation.

val concludes March 26 with ``North Indian Music,'' featuring two award-winning masters of Indian music, Swapan Chaudhuri and Rajeev Taranth. Chaudhuri received the 1998 Sangeet Natak Academy Award and 1998 American Academy Artists Award, both of which are reserved only for those artists of the highest level of artistry. Taranth was given the 1998 T. Chowdish Award, a major award in India, for his contributions to music.
