The college is among a dozen schools sharing $400,000 in grants from the Academy Foundation, an educational and cultural arm of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

The awards were given to the Los Angeles-area college and community programs that focus on bringing students and professional filmmakers together.
