CAL STATE NORTHRIDGE MATADORS NOTEBOOK : CRABTREE BREAKS PATTERN WITH UNUSUAL SERIES START.


For the first time since the season opener on Jan. 26, Cal State Northridge senior right-hander Robert Crabtree started the first game of a series on Friday night.

Crabtree entered Friday with a 13-6 record. The left-handed Ramirez, who will start today at 1 p.m. against right-handed Jeff Perry, is 12-1.
