CSUN CSUN California State University Northridge  (8-8, 2-3) update: Northridge had its best defensive game of the season, holding UC Santa Barbara to just 46 points Thursday. But even better news, the Matadors showed they could score without a dominant performance from leading scorer Mike Efevberha, who was benched for the first half. Sophomores Jonathan Heard and Calvin Chitwood combined for 29 points in Thursday's victory.

Cal Poly (5-12, 3-3) update: The Mustangs are coming off a 64-62 loss to Pacific on Thursday and need a win tonight to stay in the top half of the Big West Conference standings.
