CAL LEAGUE: JETHAWKS FALL IN GAME 1 LAKE ELSINORE 6, JETHAWKS 5.

LAKE ELSINORE - The JetHawks' wild postseason ride took another interesting turn Saturday.

A night after overcoming a four-run, ninth-inning deficit in the decisive Game 3 in the first round of the California California (kăl'ĭfôr`nyə), most populous state in the United States, located in the Far West; bordered by Oregon (N), Nevada and, across the Colorado River, Arizona (E), Mexico (S), and the Pacific Ocean (W).  League's playoffs, the JetHawks fell short with a late rally, losing 6-5 to Lake Elsinore in Game 1 of the best-of-five divisional championship.

In front of 3,022 at The Diamond, the JetHawks trailed 6-2 with two outs in the eighth when Danny Richar's two-out triple started a three-run inning in·ning

JetHawks catcher Phil Avlas (Kennedy High of Granada Hills) singled in Richar and scored on Neb Brown's triple. Brown scored on a Steve Garrabrants single.
