Spearheaded by Overnet Inc., CAIS and Overnet will contract with three of Korea's largest companies: Korea Informatics Telesis Inc. (KITI) -- a subsidiary of Korea Telecom KT (formerly, Korea Telecom, Korean: 한국통신, NYSE: KT) is South Korea's top integrated wired/wireless telecommunication service provider. KT has been Korea's leader in the development of the information & communications business for the last 25 years ; S1 Corporation or "Secom" -- Korea's first and largest full-service security company offering electronic security networks and a subsidiary of Samsung; and Dreamline Corporation - a subsidiary of Cheil Jedang Group, a Korean nationwide telephone company.

The Korean companies will deliver CAIS's OverVoice -- patented technology that easily enables the distribution of high speed Internet access to multiple residents in buildings -- to three million telephone and electronic security subscribers in Korea nationwide. The alliance also has interest from Korean cable TV providers to contract the OverVoice service for its cable subscribers.

"CAIS Internet's OverVoice is breaking new ground in Korea for delivering high speed Internet access," said Changho Shin, President, Overnet Inc. "CAIS was chosen for these Korean contracts because OverVoice is the best solution for the crucial last few hundred meters and delivers high speed Internet access with patented, high quality equipment at a low cost. It also has an easy installation, and is simple for the end user to connect, and they can use the Internet and telephone on the same line, at the same time."

CAIS Internet continues to export OverVoice equipment to Overnet and the initial installations are complete.

"CAIS Internet is pleased about this long-term alliance with Overnet to deliver OverVoice in Korea," said Ulysses G. Auger II, CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board. , CAIS Internet. "This relationship validates CAIS Internet in the global Internet market, and expands OverVoice's appeal to include telecommunications and electronic security uses around the world."

OverVoice technology is a cost-effective and sensible solution to existing multi-dwelling unit infrastructures and makes properties Internet-ready at speeds up to 175 times faster than 56K dial-up connections. OverVoice technology is simply installed on top of the property's existing telephone system while creating an Ethernet local area network like that found in many businesses. OverVoice provides users an uninterrupted, dedicated high speed Internet connection that can be shared simultaneously among many users in a hotel or apartment building and provides tenants high speed Internet and telephone service on the same line at the same time where a second line is unavailable or cost-prohibitive.
