CADALYST Magazine selects Intergraph Imagineer Technical as "Technology Leader"; Award at A/E/C Systems show.


ANAHEIM, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 20, 1996--CADALYST Magazine this week named Intergraph's Imagineer Imagineer may refer to:
  • Imagineer, a Japanese video game developer and publisher that should not too be confused with Imagineering, a now-defunct video game developer from New Jersey.
  • Imagineers, the employees of Walt Disney Imagineering.
(TM) Technical 2D precision drawing tool as a "Technology Leader" at the A/E/C A/E/C Architect/Engineer/Contractor  Systems(R) '96 show.

Gene Smarte, CADALYST editor-in-chief, presented the award to Tommy Steele Tommy Steele OBE (born December 17, 1936 in London, England) is an English entertainer. Steele is widely regarded as Britain's first pop idol. Born Thomas Willam Hicks , president of Intergraph Software Solutions. "Technology Leaders are providing products that are available today and represent what we feel are the directions of the industry," said Smarte. "We think Imagineer Technical is an excellent example of that effort."

CADALYST's technical editor, Art Liddle, called Imagineer "awesome" in the magazine's current edition (July). "It is a very powerful yet easy-to-use package that will change the way most of the world creates technical drawings ... an extremely good example of what Windows-based programs can and should be," Liddle wrote.
