CAD-driven quality system launched by new IQS, cSHARE partnership.

cSHARE, LLC, a provider of solutions that inspire innovation, collaboration and enterprise efficiency, and IQS, Inc., a leading provider of quality management software, have announced the development of a breakthrough data integration technology that will significantly improve the efficiency and accuracy of critical data transfer between the engineering and quality systems of a manufacturing organization.

Developed through a recent strategic partnership between cSHARE and IQS, the new data integration technology allows manufacturers to export specifications, product characteristic and attribute data directly from the engineering/product development process into the quality system for inspection planning and characteristic accountability.

This solution represents the first time product attributes can be shared directly from a 3-D Modeling CAD directly to the Quality Management system within the manufacturing process.

Because of the new direct export capability, the labor-intensive, manual process of entering characteristics from product design documentation is eliminated, vastly improving process efficiency and data accuracy.
