The agreement includes access to licensing of modules for Arabic, Chinese, French and Spanish, as well as languages that Language Weaver may release in the future. CACI will market the bundled software solutions to DoD, law enforcement and intelligence customers focused on national security markets, homeland defense and international collaboration.

Larry Den, vice president of CACI's Content Exploitation Division, stated, "Language Weaver is a leader in statistically-based machine translation technology, delivering important and unique new capabilities in language machine translation software." He added, "By integrating their software into the DOCEX Suite, we offer our government customers the benefits of this approach to machine translation and enhance the product that we deliver to our intelligence, homeland security and law enforcement customers."

The software will save U.S. government organizations money and time through streamlining and automation of the translation and analysis process, and is especially useful in field applications where it can run on laptops. The core technology allows scanning of paper documents, translation, and population of a central archive database for tracking and cross-reference, and the original document is always available for reference. Data can be extracted, analyzed and filtered for potential threat information. Any data that seems suspicious can be escalated to a human analyst.

We are certain CACI's customers will benefit greatly from the enhanced automatic translation capability."
