CABBIES' WARNING.CABBIES have staged a string of protests about dodgy dodgy - Synonym with flaky. Preferred outside the US drivers working illegally. The United and Independent Taxi Association (UITA UITA Utah Information Technology Association UITA Union Internationale des Travailleurs de l'alimentation, de l'agriculture, de l'hôtellerie-Restauration, du Tabac et des Branches Connexes ) said not enough was being done to crack down on the problem. That led to a high-profile go-slow protest through Newcastle city centre, in a bid to get police and council officers to stage more enforcement probes. Now such operations have taken place, the UITA has welcomed the move and called on punters to be on their guard for unlicensed cars. Cabbies from the Newcastle Hackney Hackney, inner borough (1991 pop. 164,200) of Greater London, SE England, on the Lea River. Clothing manufacture (in Hackney) and printing and furniture making (in Shoreditch) are the borough's chief industries. London's first theater was built in Shoreditch (c.1575). Drivers' Association (NHDA NHDA National Housing Development Authority (Sri Lanka) NHDA Nederlands Historisch Data Archief (Dutch: Netherlands Historical Data Archive) NHDA National Hydrocarbons Data Archive (UK) ) have also created special signs to place in the cars, warning passengers which vehicles they should use and which ones they should not.
