CAA getting into the digital game in deal with Revver.


L.A.-based Rewer Inc., the online viral video platform, has cut a deal for representation with Hollywood talent brokers Creative Artists Agency Creative Artists Agency (CAA) is a talent and literary agency which represents a vast array of actors, musicians, writers, directors, and athletes, as well as a variety of companies and their products. .

Revver's claim to fame is being the first video network to split its revenues from online advertising with the creators of the videos.

It made something of a splash recently because of its involvement with LonelyGirl15, a series of shorts ostensibly created by a wannabe teen filmmaker, which became popular on Revver rival YouTube.com. The shorts became a hot topic in Hollywood when the videos' creator could not be identified or found. Ultimately, it was revealed to be a CAA-backed professional venture of a young director looking for a feature film deal.
