(OCTBB: EGNS), today announced an agreement to deliver advanced Year 2000 factory remediation solutions to clients in China and the United States. Egan Systems, a CA Year 2000 services provider, will use CA-Fix/2000 at its conversion centers in the United States and China for automated remediation and Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) of clients' code written in COBOL.

Egan Systems was selected as CA's China factory services partner because it owns controlling interest in Tech 2020, Ltd., which has been authorized to bring to China the world's best Y2K software and hardware suppliers and manufacturers. Egan Systems will use CA-Fix/2000 for remediation and IV&V of COBOL at its China-based factories in Beijing and Shenzhen.
