Computer Associates International, Inc. (CA) today announced the general availability of its Unicenter TNG Framework 2.1 Japanese Version. The new release, which will be offered to users free-of-charge, allows Japanese clients to fully leverage the capabilities of CA's Unicenter TNG Framework - Computer Associates' open, cross-platform enterprise management infrastructure for integrating management applications.

Unicenter TNG Framework 2.1 Japanese Version is the only framework available that employs double-byte coding - a technology which dedicates two bytes of memory to certain characters - enabling it to accommodate the large number of characters in the Japanese language.
