) today announced that CA is enhancing its BrightStor line of storage management solutions by licensing CaminoSoft's Managed Server HSM (1) (Hierarchical Storage Management) The automatic movement of files from hard disk to slower, less-expensive storage media. A policy-based solution that automatically migrates seldom-accessed files from higher- to lower-cost media, Managed Server HSM enables organizations to reclaim first-tier disk storage resources for frequently accessed data while reducing storage management workloads. CA will market the software as BrightStor HSM this fall.
