   WHAT:   Announces millions in Proposition 46 bond fund awards, the
           largest housing bond in the Nation passed by the voters in
           November 2002

   WHEN:   February 15, 2006, 10:30 a.m. - 11:15 a.m.

   WHERE:  Carter Terrace, 522 Carter Street, San Francisco, CA  94134

   VISUAL OPPORTUNITIES:  Top state housing officials; state and local
   elected officials, presentation of award checks to affordable
   housing providers, cities and counties.

   HIGHLIGHTS:

    --  California Department of Housing and Community Development
        Acting Director Judy Nevis will announce the largest award
        package ever of Proposition 46 funding.

    --  HCD is expediting the award of the bond funds to meet the
        housing needs of California's individuals and families.

    --  Awards are made to benefit projects in the San Francisco/Bay
        Area.

   DIRECTIONS:

   From the East Bay: Cross the Bay Bridge. Take 101 South to the
   Third Street/Cow Palace/Brisbane exit. Stay right and follow signs
   to Cow Palace and Brisbane, merging onto Bayshore Boulevard.
   Continue south on Bayshore and turn RIGHT onto Geneva Avenue.
   Continue west on Geneva just past the Cow Palace on your left and
   turn LEFT onto Carter. Driveway entrance to Carter Terrace is the
   first one on the right.

   From the South: Take 101 North to the Brisbane/Cow Palace exit.
   Merge onto Bayshore Boulevard and continue north on Bayshore. Turn
   LEFT onto Geneva Avenue. Continue west on Geneva just past the Cow
   Palace on your left and turn LEFT onto Carter. Driveway entrance to
   Carter Terrace is the first one on the right.
