C.P. Eaton Partners, LLC is pleased to announce the addition of several professionals to its team in order to meet the needs of its growing client base. Jerry Elliott, Peter Martenson, Nina Frandson, Dan Meade, Jr. and Brian Newman have joined the firm in the past two months.

* Jerry Elliott assumes the combined duties of chief operating officer, chief financial officer and chief legal officer. In an effort to strategically institutionalize key positions and manage the increasing number of fund assignments, Mr. Elliott will coordinate the firm's four offices and associated activities to ensure that the firm operates with maximum efficiency. Mr. Elliott has more than 25 years of strategic, operating, financial and legal experience in critical senior leadership roles at leading operating companies, banking and legal institutions. Prior to joining C.P. Eaton Partners, he was the chief operating officer and chief financial officer of Cengage Learning (formerly Thomson Learning). In addition, Mr. Elliott also served as chief executive officer and president of Global Signal until its sale to Crown Castle for $5.7 billion. He also has experience as a senior banker at Morgan Stanley and prior to that he was a partner at Shearman & Sterling.

* Peter Martenson is also joining the firm as a senior vice president in the La Jolla, California office, bringing with him 16 years of diversified management and investment experience which includes 10 years of direct private equity funds investment experience. He was previously a managing director with Macquarie Funds Management, where he led a team of investment professionals structuring, fundraising and investing fund of funds and separate accounts into global private equity opportunities.

* Nina Frandson has a total of 10 years of experience in the real estate and financial services industries. Prior to joining C.P. Eaton Partners as a vice president in the Rowayton office, she was a developer for American International Group, where she developed and helped fund large mixed-use urban development projects domestically and internationally. Before then, Ms. Frandson was an associate director in Cushman & Wakefield's Capital Markets Group.

* Dan Meade, Jr. has nine years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining C.P. Eaton Partners as a vice president in the Rowayton office, he was a vice president in the marketing department at Cramer Rosenthal McGlynn, a multi-strategy value equity manager. There he ran the direct marketing effort with particular focus on the public and corporate channels. Dan started his career on the Institutional Equity Sales desk at Bear Steams, where he was an associate director, and held a similar position at Monness Crespi Hardt, a research boutique.

* Brian Newman joins the firm's Rowayton office as an associate with five years of capital markets and private equity experience. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Newman worked in private finance for the investment banks Goldsmith Agio Helms and CRT Capital. Previously, he worked for ArcLight Capital Partners making private equity investments in power and energy assets.
