C.D.I. Systems Announces OEM Agreement for its Digital Rights Management Technology.

C.D.I. Systems, a developer of e-publishing solutions, today announced the signing of an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) The rebranding of equipment and selling it. The term initially referred to the company that made the products (the "original" manufacturer), but eventually became widely used to refer to the organization that buys the products and  agreement with Aladdin Knowledge Systems Aladdin Knowledge Systems NASDAQ: ALDN is a company that provides solutions for software digital rights management and Internet security since 1985. Its corporate headquarters are located in Tel Aviv, Israel.  (Nasdaq:ALDN).

C.D.I. Systems will provide Aladdin with its Digital Rights Management (DRM (1) (Digital Radio Mondiale) A digital audio broadcasting (DAB) system for AM radio in Europe. See HD Radio.

) technology for the protection of digital content. The DRM technology from C.D.I. Systems is incorporated into Aladdin's HASP (Houston Automatic Spooling Program) A mainframe spooling program that provides task, job and data management functions.

C.D.I. Systems' DRM technology, as was integrated in HASP DocSeal, provides the authorized end-user with read-only rights Authorization to read the contents of files, but not to change them. "All rights" or "read/write rights" let you modify the contents. Rights are assigned to files and folders by the user or the network administrator, and the operating system checks the status during file operations.  to the protected document. Browser functionalities such as print, copy, print capture or save are disabled to ensure intellectual property such as product documentation and technical specifications can be accessed only by authorized users in a protected environment.
