NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 7, 1996--Harris & Harris Harris, Scotland: see Lewis and Harris.  Group Inc., announced today that it has accepted a proposal by C. Richard Childress Richard Childress (born September 21, 1945 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina) is a former NASCAR driver and successful team owner of Richard Childress Racing (RCR) in NASCAR NEXTEL Cup competition. , its chief financial officer, that he become once again a consultant to the company rather than an officer, so that he can be free to pursue other business interests, while continuing to help the company with the preparation of its quarterly and annual financial statements.
