Bradley Mulholland will retire, effective January 1, 2004, from Matson Navigation Company Matson Navigation Company, a subsidiary of Alexander & Baldwin, is a private ocean transportation company with roots extending into the late 19th century. It is credited with introducing mass tourism to Hawaii with the opening of the Moana Hotel (now known as the Moana Surfrider Hotel) , Inc., which he serves as vice chairman of the board. He also will retire from his position as executive vice president of Alexander & Baldwin, Inc. (Nasdaq:ALEX), Matson's parent company, and from director positions on the boards of both companies.
