C-COR TO SUPPLY RF EQUIPMENT TO TIME WARNER FOR MEMPHIS UPGRADE

 STATE COLLEGE, Pa., May 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Richard E. Perry, chairman and chief executive officer of C-COR Electronics, Inc., (NASDAQ: CCBL) announced today that C-COR will provide Time Warner Cable with RF equipment for its 3,020-mile upgrade in Memphis, Tenn.
 C-COR will supply 550 MHz amplifiers in 1 GHz housings, module upgradeable for 750 MHz operation, specifically designed to meet Time Warner's architectural requirements for upgrades. The equipment, backed by C-COR's technical customer services, including training, field engineering support and documentation, carries C-COR's traditional extended warranty. Deliveries will begin in October, 1993, and will continue at monthly intervals until anticipated completion of the project in December, 1995. Total value of the equipment provided by C-COR is in excess of $5 million.
 Commenting on the selection of C-COR, Time Warner Vice President of Engineering & Technology Don Shackelford stated that C-COR "met the pricing and performance objectives of the special amplifiers needed to meet our upgrade requirements."
 Perry stated, "We are pleased to be chosen to participate in this extensive upgrade project. C-COR pledges to fulfill its commitment to Time Warner with on-time delivery of the industry's most reliable equipment. We look forward to a continued strong working relationship with Time Warner."
